I would like to have some kind of batch process whereby I can automatically create several DNN pages at the same time.

For example, there would be some kind of XML file where you would input the following values:

Page name - Parent - Page Permissions - Template - etc

You then add as many of these as you want and run the batch and the pages would automatically get created.

Has anyone done this before, if so how?

Have a look at the DNN template system - it creates an XML snapshot of a DNN site and then can be used to template a new site.
