Evening all.....

DNN 4.9.2

I created a new page and am trying to link that page to a pdf file. I have created the page, gone into the settings of the page clicked on linking to be a file on the site, selected the directory and then selected the file. Now, when you click on the page, it just churns and churns, nothing happens! No errors nothing. IE 8 issue? I have made sure "All Users" can view that directory from inside the File Manager and that's fine, just not sure what it could be.

Also, while I am on this topic. WHEN it is working and linking to a file correctly it always replaces the window you are in. Is there anyway that you have have it open the file in a new window? There is nothing in the settings linking that allows this and I wondered if it could be done.

Thanks all for your help in advance. Have a good evening!

Here is the address.... though I can see something isn't right... it should be linking to the file...

http://www.thepatriotproject.org/Home/tabid/37/Default.aspx

This is what I got when I right clicked the link and hit properties. Not sure what's going on here because this is the Home page link.

it looks like the link has not properly been stored or there is a permission issue. did you grant access for the containing folder to all users?
