Hi,

I'm guilty of neglecting a DNN site with regular TLC or in other words my life got in the way of me keeping a site up to date... the version of the site I'm currently running is 3.2.2.30184.  Nothing clever been done - it's a 'vanilla' install with core modules only and the only DNN site on the server.  DB is on SQL-Express '05 and the server is running .NET 1.1 and 2+ side-by-side.

I wanted to ask/check what's best practice for upgrading this legacy DNN site to the latest flavour - what are the gotchas I need to avoid and of obvious concern is what is the correct sequence of tasks to follow for updating the db might/should be.

Any and all tips appreciated, especially any handy scripts to automate/remove pain.

ed.
