Hi All,

Gotta big problem here. I am trying to make links to files on my site to make them downloadable with the Text/HTML module. the links turn out like this

http://192.168.*.***/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=kaH5zK9NYKw%3d&tabid=117

but when i click on the link it just gets redirected to the same page im on, no file download.

Tried this with the links module and the same result. Am i missing any configuration? Appreciate any help. thanks.

It sounds like the files table might have gotten out of sync with your file system.

I would go to "Admin" -> "File Manager" and select the "Recursive" checkbox then hit "Sync".

After this, edit the link in question, and see if it works now.

Is there anyway to start over with the file sytem, like a fresh install just for the file system? thanks

you can truncate Files and Folders tables, but you will loose all internal file links in your content, which are based on fileID.
