Skinning documentation have not been updated in years, so why should we expext change with release 5.

If you buy PE version however you get full documentation if you trust the information on this site.

Personaly I have my doubts that ths is true. I have tryed to get the information about what documentation is included in PE version but still no answer.

I have read every book released and no one have full information regarding how all skinobject works. I asume however the PE version documentation have this information as it is full..

Don't fret, the book is out of date now anyway...  :)

Complete documentation for DNN has never existed in any way, shape or form.  Even with the new "Documentation" project, it's doubtful there ever will be complete documentation.  Comments in the source are the only way some of the documentation actually exists, and some things have no documentation other than what was rattling around in the developer's head at the time the control was written.
