@Sebastian - Thanks for the heads up concerning a new version of the forums module!!  Can't wait for DNN.com to fix the forums here!!

I'd still like to know some more about how multi-core processors effect a DNN site. I've tried Googling for some knowledge but couldn't find a whole lot.  Another question I have is if it is possible, if you have multi-processors (two muli-core processors), to have sql server run off one of the processors and have the web server run off the other?  Sort of like having seperate boxes for the web server and sql server but all in the same box - I'm thinking this would speed things up as well since they don't have to use the network to communicate.

I have never been unsatisfied with my configurations, both of my servers have 4 cores.  One is a Quad core the other is 2 Dual cores.  If you go into the Task Manager and go to the Processes tab, you can right click on a process such as SQLSvr and choose Affinity and associate it with a single processor.  I don't think this is how you would do it to make it stick, but it is a good way to run your tests.
