"The stored procedure 'dbo.ts_GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist."

I have a local installation of DNN 4.8 running on Vista, which I use for development.

I was running it against SQL Server 2005 Express and all was good.
I upgraded to SQL Server 2008 Express and attached the database.

I have double-check user accounts and connection strings in web.config - but cannot connect.

Instead, I get the above error.

Please help!!

Randy Land

it's for sure a database connection issue - are you using same database owner and object qualifier?

That's a good question.

Should the database owner be the same account used to connect?

That user is configured on the db and is using the dbo schema.

make sure, the database user is a mapping of your SQL server user specified in web.config (in Server security see user mapping).
