So, what can one do when the CSS is not being picked up properly????

Have you verified that the css file containing these classes is indeed referenced in view source and that the file does have these class names in it (i.e. its updated)?

If possible post a url for me to look at.  If it is not easy to expose the page to the internet open the page in your browser and do a File -> Save As... and save it.  Then zip the htm and its accompanying folder and email it to me (or post a link to the file).

Thanks. Yes, I've verified everything. Very late last night, I actually got it to work too. All that was 'missing' in my css was extending each item with ":link". Example:

.searchlink:link
.privacylink:link
etc

I guess one doesn't reach the attributes without it.... I posted my finding here as well (original issue).
