I'm certain this has 100% to do with me being a newbie with DNN, but I manage to create simple modules and they work fine. My problem is when I add a css file to the module, call it module.css, I don't add the link to the module but it doesn't seem to get picked up when the page is rendered. Do i need to register the file somehow?

Same goes for localizing, I add a resx file for each of my languages, I add a resourcekey to my labels and I add the values into the resx files but no go. It doesn't pick up those values. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Viktor.

Have you enable the language in the Host->Languages (or Admin -> Languages)?

Suggestions:  Verify the naming convention/location of modules.css and resx file.  The module.css should be in the module root folder.  The resx is in the app_localresources folder.

Language is enabled, all regular modules work with the second language, but the modules I make, although the resx file I create (although placed in the same place as others but in my module) and module.css that is placed in the root of my module don't seem to work. There's no extra steps to do this, is there?

For module.css, I found that I need to go to Host -> Host Settings and click the restart application link in order for the module.css file to start getting used.
