I want to show the title only, and a link to the full description( in a new window) is enabled on the title. I have read the module's help article, but it seems no tokens can make this.

Has anyone made this? Or at least the same effect as the "News" section in the default page on http://www.dotnetnuke.com.

I just took a look, and I can't figure that one out, either. My solution was to invest in the Ventrian subscription and use News Articles in place of Announcements. It's extremely affordable ($50 for a one year subscription to all of his modules), very flexible, and easy to template. Using their tokens, you can surroud the title with the link to the main article, announcement, or whatever.
