Check if the Forum module exist in the Modules, if yes uninstall it.  Check physically Folder settings, and make sure the Application Process User have Write permission, and you have setup the IIS right.

Then try new install.

HI,

I also get this error.

'DNN_NTForums_GetForumStats', because it does not exist or you do not have
permission. Cannot find the object 'DNN_NTForums_GetForumsByGroup2', because
it does not exist or you do not have permission. Cannot find the object
'DNN_Forum_NewsArticleAdd',

Forums does not exist as a module and this messgae prevents it being reinstalled and deleted.

Using ONyahtech's commander module, I have discovered that these are missing stored modules (they are no longer used or needed), that dotnetnuke calls.

Where in the installation are these referenced? Can the references be removed?

Paul

This caused happend with your physical permission miss settings on your DNN configuration.  Make shure you have set write permissions to the dnn folder for the application pool user.

Also make sure you have set the both database strings in your web.config file.

HI,

Write permissions have been checked a number of times.

The database strings seem ok. Until the upgrade to version 5 the system was working ok.

I think that somewhere during that upgrade soemthing didn't take. So what might still be referencing these procedures? What other things can I check?

Thanks

Paul
