I need to know if anyone out there has experience with merging databases.  We have a website that is acting badly, and is just plan "broken", but we think we have found the solution and hopfully fixed the problem.  However, there are almost 300 broken links on the site right now, which is a huge task to manaually fix.

Luckily, we have a backup of the database that we think was taken before the links broke, so we would like to find somebody who could merge the DB copy with the existing DB to fix all of the broken links.  Basically, we would need a script that will run the backup DB and use all of it's data to "replace" the broken or missing links in the current DB.

Any ideas, volunteers, etc, please respond ASAP.   I have a customer who is FREAKING OUT!

You may use a tool like the Redgate one (http://www.red-gate.com/) to compare the database and automatically build the script to update.

You can compare an entire db or only a table.

Good luck, Sandro
