I'd like to know how many are using both Ventrian and Engage... wondering if there is a good use case in this scenario.

The Ventrian subscription includes quite a few modules, but I can think of one good use case for both Engage Publish and Ventrian News being on the system.  Engage's product does more as far as the content publshing features go but Ventrian's News is much better than Enage as a blog app.  I could easily justify Engage as a general publishing module but using Ventrian for a specific blog.

Went to the Ventrian (is that what you meant?) web site and I wasn't really impressed. Either that the demo site does the module an injustice. By chance you know a web site, such as your own, that might use the module?

Thanks.

Forget the styling on the Ventrian site, you can customize it to your requirements easily - it's the functionality....

www.snasty.co.uk uses it extensively although not in anger and I probably could have done a better job making it slicker....
I also have other publishing sites that have thousands or news stories using this module. I'd say for the price you pay it's a no brainer... even if for the other modules.

Two municipal governments in SW Florida that chose different programs...

Ventrian News:  www.naplesgov.com (me), everything that appears as "News" on the site, and our primary CMS for dynamic content.

Engage Publish:  www.capecoral.net, primary CMS
