Did you take my advice?

Looks like the same problem.

Adding this

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

as the first line right after <head id="Head" runat="server"> in your site's default.aspx file, will take care of the problem. That way users don't have to explicitly select compatibility view in their browser.

 I have not seen the problem in 5.0.x, only in 4.x.

MIke did you visit the URL's the user site? - because I was not able to reproduce this, if I'm right then this tag is not necessary.

Cheers.

Alex, yes I visited the site. And, in standard mode, the last root menu item "Offres d'Emploi" is not clickable. In compatibility mode it is. But, for this to fail in standards mode you have to let the submenu under "Offres d'Emploi" appear first. Once it appears, it won't go away (that's the same old problem) and the last root item is then not clickable.

as a temporary, completely uninformed workaround I did the following to line 247-249 of js/dnn.dom.positioning.js  :

            if (iIndex == null || iIndex == 0 ||  iIndex == "auto")

                  oCont.style.zIndex = 1;

            //oIFR.style.zIndex=iIndex-1;

This made the issue go away for debugging and menu's still seem to work.  I imagine a proper fix will be on the way.
