I've started using form and List, and basically understood XSL for List formatting. Very powerful tools.

What I would like to do now is a bit of personalization of the "form" side of the tool. I wish I could add some personalized header/footer to the module, and eventually modify the layout of the single fields (other than the order in wich they appear...), maybe adding some further detail (I know I have the help text, but I would like to build a kind of "idiot proof" form...).

Maybe I'm still not so able to search, but I've not found this kind of info. Is it somehow possible? Could you please address me somewhere?

As usual, thanks in advantage.

max.

formatting on forms are still a bit limited. form and List 5.0.2 will allow some more css, but not as much as you are expecting.

Here some forms examples:

Default: http://www.formandlist.com/Gallery/Feedback/Defaultform.aspx
css based form:
http://www.formandlist.com/Gallery/Feedback/CSSbasededitformwithoutCSSdefinition.aspx
(no styles added to css classes)
http://www.formandlist.com/Gallery/Feedback.aspx (with styles)

Max, please discribe your requirements. Even if we can't help you now, this will help us in future.

form and List sets classes to different items in html, check the HTML source, for example with firebug. You can define styles for these classes for example in portal.css.

Hi,

I have the same issue. e.g., can I

set the width of the text box?

set the form two or three columns? because for a date input, we don't need one row

put the submit button in the right?
