Hi I have recently added the Australian Engliah Language Pack to our DNN 5.0 site and ran the resource file verification. A rather alarmingly long list of missing files etc came up. Is this a problem or is it just telling me that some of the modules do not have "language" properties and so the langauge pack is not "applied"

thanks Melinda

I assume, Australian does not need translations, the LP is just a "tweak" to adjust UI culture with date/time and number formats.

Hi Sebastian,

As a matter of fact, it is not the date/time and number formats the only thing that changes with Australian Language Packs. There are differences with the spelling of several words and the way some sentences are phrased.

Australian language is much like the UK English than the US English.

:-)

Saludos,
Alejandro.

Thanks, Aljandro, yes you are right, but I assume, changes are not necessary in all resource files, i.e. these files are not included and use the default en-US resource files as fallback

Sebastian, absolutely.

I now understand your point, and I agree with you that this could be Melinda's language pack case.

Saludos!
