I apologize if this question has already been answered in another thread, but I was unable to search for any related posts.

I would simply like to hide the virtual directory in my public URL, for example:

I would like to change the currently working public URL http://www.mysite.com/dotnetnuke/default.aspx to http://www.mysite.com/default.aspx (hiding or removing the /dotnetnuke/ virtual directory.

Could someone please help me with this or point me to the right thread where the steps preexist?

Thank you very much,

Brian

So I found a thread that explained the process to eliminate the need to have /dotnetnuke in the web address URL.  I'm running into a problem now that all of my manually entered images on the various pages of the site keep the image source with /dotnetnuke/ in it's path to the image file on the server, hence I get RED X's.

Do I have to manually readd all the graphics on my site to resolve this img src path issue, is there a automatic method to update all the custom graphic files img src path to exclude the /dotnetnuke/?

For Text/HTML modules, there is a free DNN Text/HTML Replacement module by Iowa Computer Gurus. I haven't tried it, but having read the description it should be able to do the job. I don't know if there is any similar module for other module types (Gallery, Shop or so), sorry.

BTW: where's the thread you mentioned about leaving out the virtual diectory? Sounds interesting!
