Hi,

i'm trying hard to make my first dnn skin, but my design is not so easy and i have a lot of positioning (relative, absolute,.. ) added to my containers (tables).

The problem is now that in the back-end my module settings drop down menus are always in the wrong place, so that i can not reach them :-)

I also have problems with z-index in IE7. My drop down menus (also the drop down of my snapsis menu) are hidden behind a positioned container.

Any rules i should stick to, or good ideas to make this work?

thanks a lot

There are some issues with the default action menu in combination with absolute and relative positioning

Using Dropdown actions is the easiest way to solve you problems

There is a container object that shows the actions in a HTML dropdown, not as fancy, but it does work with any skin

Hi,

the html menu does work indeed, but it takes too much space and is not very user friendly.

i solved the problem by removing the positioning css on the containers.

thanks.
