I installed several dotnetNuke with MS SQL Express 2005 and it was OK. But when I upgrade MS SQL to Express 2008, I have this message:

Failure to generate a user instance of SQL Server due ti a failure in starting the process for the user isntance. The connection will be closed

I then removed MS SQL Express 2008 and re-install MS SQL Express 2005 and instal again. I cannot get ride of the above error signal. Can some one help?

I am selecting .\SQLExpress, and Database.mdf, Window authentication. The above signal appeared when I clicked Test database connection.

Thank you very much!

I suggest to create a database in sql server, using your database file, this is more reliable and secure.
