are you looking for something like this:

                If HostSettings.GetHostSetting("UseFriendlyUrls") = "Y" Then
                    hypLogin.NavigateUrl = FriendlyUrl(PortalSettings.ActiveTab, ApplicationURL(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID) & "&portalid=" & PortalSettings.PortalId.ToString, "Logoff.aspx")
                Else
                    hypLogin.NavigateUrl = ResolveUrl("~/Admin/Security/Logoff.aspx?tabid=" & PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID & "&portalid=" & PortalSettings.PortalId.ToString)
                End If

hope it helps, if not please tell me more details what you are trying to do.

Let me rephrase this..

I have an admin user and end user using the a custom deveoped module on DotNetNuke at the same time.Now the admin user restricts the permission of the end user to view the module.Admin wants the enduser to logoff at this point(The module stores the permissions and roles in session).

To cut it short ,the requirement is to know whether DotNetNuke core provides a method which can be  invoked to force the end user to logoff  whenever admin changes the end user roles/pemissions

I did not encounter such a function.

maybe someone of the core will see this thread and have a more suitable answer.

To do this, there would need to be a constant polling for updated requirements. Remember: the web is a stateless environment and these things can only be determined on a request - the server can't send data to browsers on it's own, it has to be requested. Either way, what you're saying is technically possible; however, that would decrease performance because every request would essentially have to re-check the user's roles... all of them. If this is done for every user, this can hurt the server a great deal.

I understand your desire to have this be an option, however, so I'd suggest you check Gemini to see if it's already been suggested. If not, suggest it. Once the core team receives it, they can decide whether or not to work on it. That's probably your best option. The more people that suggest and comment on the same item, the more likely it is to get implemented.
