Hi everyone,

I need to be able to specify a different seach icon for each of my portals. I do not want to use the regular "~/images/Search/dotnetnuke-icon.gif" image. And I cannot find a place in the database where I can specify the siteiconurl path.

I know, however, that you can create a new skin, then add something like this in the "skin.xml" file under the [SEARCH] token:

<Setting><Name>SiteIconURL</Name><Value>~/Portals/_default/skins/myskin/images/siteicon.gif</Value><Setting>

The problem here is that I use the same skin for different portals, and they will all get the same search icon/picture.

I have been struggling with this for hours, so, if anyone know how to deal with this; your help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Geir

skins / skin objects are not portal sensitive.

You wil either have to create multiple skins or replace the icon using Javacsript
