I too am looking for this kind of funtionality...Sebastian, do you have any modules you can recommend that would switch the skin based on the user role that is logged in?

 I am sorry, I haven't had the need yet, because my customers mostly want to have applied their  corporate design being used all over their site.

This forum talks about what I'm trying to do with changing a skin based on role logged in.
