I think what I have is a strange issue. I've enabled syndication on all my pages modules here: http://www.ihbsonline.com

I've set the scheduler service up in Host > Schedule, and enabled DotNetNuke.Services.Search.SearchEngineScheduler, DOTNETNUKE for the default timing.

I've also manually run it via Host > Search Admin and set maximum words to 20 and minimum to 5, and checked both Include Common, and Include Numbers.

Using the Efficion Articles search, I can find keywords, so I'm sure indexing is occuring.

Yet when I click on ANY RSS icon on ANY module, be it text, etc, it merely launches another instance of my browser, and shows me the page I was just viewing. No XML as I expected.

I've checked my Text/HTML and other modules, and searching is enabled. The Search Results and Search Input modules are both installed.

Have I missed something?

This was caused by the iFinity URL Rewriter.

Evidently, whether you use the free or paid version, you will have these issues.

The version to use is Ventrian, which is less feature rich, but lacks the RSS issue.

I'm confused... Which module from Ventrian? Does Ventrian have a URL Rewriter?

David, I assume, John is talking about Ventrian NewsArticles module.
