I am for the first time trying to build a module using VWD 2008 express.

using -> DotNetNuke Dynamic Module _->Module name is WineShipper2

I have followed Instruction and named the folders

Rename /App_Code/ModuleName to /App_Code/WineShipper2
Rename /DesktopModules/ModuleName to /DesktopModules/WineShipper2

I have created a Module Definition of the same name and when I try to add it to a website page, I get the following....

Error: WineShipper2 is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: C:\Documents and Settings\Dennis West\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\WebSites\DotNetNuke Website1\DesktopModules\WineShipper2\ViewWineShipper2.ascx.vb(66): error BC30560: 'WineShipper2Controller' is ambiguous in the namespace 'YourCompany.Modules.WineShipper2'. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: C:\Documents and Settings\Dennis West\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\WebSites\DotNetNuke Website1\DesktopModules\WineShipper2\ViewWineShipper2.ascx.vb(66): error BC30560: 'WineShipper2Controller' is ambiguous in the namespace 'YourCompany.Modules.WineShipper2'. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

not exactly sure wht you've got going on here - but fully qualify all your references to WineShipper2Controller to get around this error.

it possible the problem can be fixed with adding the same name of namespace in your ViewWineShipper2.ascx. and your controller located in the app_code folder
