Hi, I noticed that when you add the blog module it adds multiple instances of it to a page and each instance loads a different user control. Based on the source I can't seem to figure out where it's actually doing it.

You do this through the configuration of the Module Defintion on the Host/Module Definitions page.

Create the basic info about the module, name, folder, etc.

Add a Definition

Add Controls to the Definition

Add another Definition

Add controls to this new Definition

rinse repeat

I don't see where your question was stupid at all Omego2K. That's what the forums are for, to help people when they can't find the answer.

This reminds me of a saying my father used a lot (I don't know who originally came up with it). "The only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked."

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH - That's what the definitions are for? SWEET! I think I've been wondering about that since I started using DNN.

Always remember, there are probably many other people out there wondering the same thing. And who knows - Your question may yield the answer to a different question.
