According to the release schedule 4.1 was supposed to be released to platinum benefactors already.

I thought I read that that date slipped a little and I would expect the general release slipped as well.

Is there an update we could get on this

Also, is there somewhere I can find out what the changes or differences are between 4.0.3 and 4.1

I am expecting a membership providor change but what exactly changed and will single users now be able to access multiple portals?

The schedule is an estimate to give an approximate guideline out to the community - obviously in a volunteer effort it's difficult to give fixed dates so we avoid doing this. The beta has slipped by a week or so, as we want it to be a quality beta, otherwise it will cause a lot of back and forth updates, delaying the eventual release.

As always, the roadmap http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/RoadMap.aspx for forthcoming changes, and chog http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/ChangeLog.aspx for previous changes are the best place to check for details.

I understand the date is an estimate and I totally appreciate all of the volunteer work that is involved.

I am just curious as to wther or not the beta was relased to the benefactors or not, if so.

Also, I looked at the road map and the changes on the links you provided however, I was looking for more of a bullet item list, is that available somewhere?

I have a question about the chog / roadmap.

Is it "safe" to assume that the DNN 3 changes are also implemented in DNN 4?

And that the items listed for DNN 4 are specific to that version?

Thanks for clearing this up.

both versions have identical features, and will continue to do so for at least a while yet. The changes are made in one version and ported to the other.
