After some testing it looks like only "Current" announcements are being syndicated.  But I need "All" announcements to go to the RSS feed.  Help?!

Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem with the repository module.
Added items show up OK in the RSS feed, but if you modify them the RSS feed keeps showing the old content.
Even worse if you delete an item it still shows in the feed.

I suspect that this is a problem not with the Announcements module, but with the core syndication functionlity.
Where is the best place to discuss that?

Chris

After I posted an item on the Repository module forum (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/54/threadid/335569/scope/posts/Default.aspx), Chris Hammond suggested checking the frequency the search index is scheduled for re-indexing.  This prompted me to purge the search index (http://weblogs.asp.net/christoc/archive/2006/06/26/DotNetNuke-Daily-Tip-_2300_3-6_2F00_26_2F00_06-Clear-Search-Tables.aspx) and re-index.  and lo and behold it fixed my problem with syndication from the Repository module. Maybe it'll work for you guys having problems with the announcements module?
