We are running multiple dnn sites on one DNN instance. For whatever reason it appears that we have no functionality with AJAX. We are on 04.08.04. If I go to Host Settings/Other Settings the option for 'Enable AJAX' is checked. What else can I check to verify the use of AJAX with our sites? We have an AJAX Tabs module that we would like to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian

 In the module definition, if you edit on of the controls, there is a check box for "supports partial rendering" if this is not checked, ajax isn't used.

I'd check that first - tripped me up when I started using ajax.

Check you web.config file because I found this:

I have just found out why AJAX is not working on my sites.

There was a rogue setting in my web.config file:

<system.web>

    <xhtmlConformance mode="Legacy" />

</system.web>

Once I removed this, AJAX appears to be working OK. For more info on this, please read this blog entry from Scott Guthrie: weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2006/12/10/gotcha-don-t-use-xhtmlconformance-mode-legacy-with-asp-net-ajax.aspx

See my thread here about AJAX not working: www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/111/threadid/259206/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I ckecked the module definition and the Supports Partial Rendering option is checked. Any other ideas?

SupaHoopsa -- Thanks for the response. I checked our web.config, but I couldn't find the <xhtmlConformance mode="Legacy" /> setting that you mentioned.

Any other ideas?
