I'd like to create a new dnn module dev project that is completely blank. I do a file > new > project in vs.net 2008. I assume the closest project type to create would be an asp.net web app. It creates a web.config and default.aspx. I delete both and start creating my ascx files. Is this the correct way? If I continue to create the project this way, are there any consequences?

Would love to see a reply to this, because I'm in the same boat.  The Compiled Module template always crashes on me in VS 2005.
