Hi all

I just installed IE8.  My local DNN site will not connect, returning the error:  'localhost" is not set up to establish a connection on port "World Wide Web service (HTTP)" with this computer"

Any ideas about fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Solved!
The IE8 installer turns off a number of features in IIS and WWW Services.

To fix, navigate from Control Panel->Programs and Feature->Turn Windows Features On or Off-> ISS

Hi,
Can you please post details about which features were turned off and which ones you re-enabled?
Thanks,
