I think the problem is in my manifest file ... Currently I can install the modules.

however, there is one slightly problem .. it cannot display.

I got this error message instead :

   ... error BC30456: 'CreateResourceBasedLiteralControl' is not a member of 'ASP.desktopmodules ....

... at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilites.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace --- ...

Any idea on how to solve this problem ??

  Thanks

If you aren't getting this error on your development environment, something has to be incorrrect/missing from your installation site. Since you have been uncertain about the manifest from the beginning, I would compare the file system on your development site to the installation site to verify it has all of the necessary files.

yeah. I did the comparison and they all works okay. Only one module that give me the problem now. I didn't know what's happening ... All I know that my development environment version is 5.0.8XX something and the Testing environment is a version lower. However, my other modules installed okay and display and working well. Just the only one module that give me problem of displaying. ...

Thanks

  thanks for all the responses...

it is working okay now. It is the version compatibility problem.
