Having a separate menu structures enables localized SEO urls and different site structure / locale specific pages. While you consider managing this a nightmare, we consider the installation and configuration of EALO a nightmare... not to mention the learning curve that is also pretty high in EALO compared to our localization extensions. And correct me if I'm wrong, but EALO requires specific ML modules, which is a major limitation. Our approach enables localized content for any module. And as for menu support, we support dnnmenu, solpart, house of nuke, snapsis navmenu, telerik radmenu, and the new XMenu by markitmodules.

We probably should write a comparison table of different localization approaches and their limitations...

AFAIK Erik van Ballegoij (www.Apollo-software.nl) did just release new versions of his ML software, but I haven't tried it with DNN 5 yet.
