Hi,

I am trying to install dotnetnuke version 5.02,

I tried this http://localhost/DotNetNuke/Install/Install.aspx?mode20=Install

and receiving error as below

I have not seen this error before, however here are some things to note when installing DNN:

  1. Make sure you download the "Install" version and not Source, Upgrade, etc.
  2. Make sure your file permissions are set correctly
  3. Use the install wizard to configure DNN, do not edit the web.config to setup DNN

Try removing and reinstalling DNN after reading the items above.
