Hello,

I notice users automatically log out of my DNN site in it seems 10-20 minutes.  Where can I make this number much larger?  I don't see it anywhere in any settings.

I tried searching these forums on dotnetnuke.com but every time I search I get a forum error.

this is controlled by session timeout of the web server (IIS setting)

Thanks!

As I understand it, DNN can use that for a session timeout, or session idle timeout.  Do you know which?  If the number is set to 60 minutes, is that after 60 minutes of inactivity?

actually the timeout is the forms auth cookie timeout, not a session timeout issue. We added a custom solution to dotnetnuke to allow customizable timeouts for session and persistent cookies - see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/1784/a-new-solution-to-an-old-problem.aspx
