Well, I click the login just to see what happens and now when I try to login using the default host or admin it's giving me a failed login error!

I just did everything all over again, but this time I closed VS 2008, because during the install I had the web.config in the editor.  I suggest anyone installing DNN after doing any configuration close everything, then install.

Plus, I did the basic initial configuration on the Server like; HTTP Alias, so I can login remotely and do the rest of the configuration.

I get this error when trying to view the "Solutions Explorer":

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SolutionsExplorer.opml.config' is denied. ---> System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SolutionsExplorer.opml.config' is denied.

..and I don't see this object installed.  Is this and obsolete object or why didn't installed and how can I correct this missing object?

Why are you trying to open this in Solution Explorer?  Did you install the source version?  If you just want to run a DNN site, put away Visual Studio, you don't use it.  Install from the Install version, and read the documentation.  If you want to modify the core source, put away Visual Studio until you understand why you don't want to do that.
