Under Admin->Authentication is the provider enabled?

Thanks for the reply.

There is no Authentication under Admin. I am using DNN 5.00, Do you mean Admin => Extensions => Edit Extensions=>Authentication Settings. While trying to enable this settings only I am getting the error.

The Error message just says

An error has occurred.
Error: is currently unavailable.

Where can I see the description OR when I debug where should I look for the Exception Message and Stack trace.

Sorry I didn't realize you were using DNN 5. Have you looked under the EventViewer for a more detailed message? I haven't seen that generic message before sorry.
