Ive installed DNN ok on server 2003 iis6 when I start the install wizard it stalls on loading the scripts, bottom right hand corner of the monitor it stats there is errors on the page  line 66, char 13, Error 'pageNo' is undefined,  Code 0, URL http://www.mydomain.net/install/installWizard.aspx

any clues

update, ive tried deleting  the database, reinstalling DNN, upgraded from version 4 to 5, still the same problem , hangs when the wizard gets to adding the srcipts.also tried installing on IE and firefox  and on another computer

 Clive,

did you validate, that there are full permission granted to ASP.Net account ("Network Service" by default) for install directory, all files and folders inside?

did you configure database connection properly?

yes all permissions are granted I triple checked every folder , and yes the database is working and configured correctly I tried both configs for express and the old server 2005 configs in web.config  still the same, ive redownloaded DNN tried version 4 and 5 , reinstalled  sql server , tried installing on another computer, the thing is on my first attempt to install it worked. but I messed it up so I deleted the data base and built a new one and thats when the probs started. Im no dummy with asp but this one sure is making me look like a dummy, probably somethink sooo simple 

 

BTW I am running the software on my sewrver (2003 SBS)
