i've developed a number of custom modules and am now looking to deploy them.  i've created private assemblies for the modules, each containing their .ascx files, .dll assembles, resource files and .dnn file.  they install into my production environment perfectly, but when i try to add them to a page, i get a message to say that the code behind file doesn't exist.  the code behind file is referenced from the .ascx file, but as i'm using the .dll assemblies, i didn't think i needed to have the .cs files.  in fact, for security purposes, i am unable to deploy the .cs files anyway.

does anybody have any idea why this problem is occurring and how to solve it ?

okay, forget that, i was only looking at the tail end of the dll. sorry for the misdirection.

can anybody offer any insight as to why the code behind file should be required when i'm using a dll assembly ?
