Hello everybody!

I have created a website based on Dotnetnuke open source framework! I always used localhost to see how the website works. Now I would like to check how the website works on a remote web hosting. Does anyone know a free web hosting provider that I can use for this purpose?

Many thanks,

Dmitri

Hi.

I can't imagine that there is a free dnn-webhoster, if so i would like to know the name ;-)

But there is an alternative.
If you have DSL at home (preferable flatrate!), go and get a free DynDns-Provider, register a domain and set a port-forwarding in your DSL-Router, pointing to the webserver on your computer. If you have a spare computer make it as a server and you have a dnn page reachable from the rest of the world.

I have this setup running at home for 3 years now and it is pretty stable.

If you have any further questions ....

Kai

Check the hosting forum at www.asp.net, this question is asked and answered there a dozen times a month.
