Hi all.

I'm traying develop custom module and i need to use Jquery. I get Jquery to work but it breaks solpart menu.

When I set  jQuery.noConflict(); Jquery doesnot work.

Can you help me please?

 I don't remember specifically, I haven't used a lot of jquery for a while now, but...

When you set jQuery.noConflict() it no longer uses the $ to do things. If you do $j = jQuery.noConflict() then you can use $j where you'd normally use $ to use jquery functionality.

There should be more (and perhaps accurate) information at the jquery website on its noConflict documentation page.

var $j = jQuery.noConflict()
 Then anything that is dependent on jquery library(plugins and functions) will need to have the selector of j$ rather than the normal $.
*****the $j can be any variable desired or if you dont assign jQuery.noConfluct() to a variable  the selector will need to be jQuery. ******
