Hello all. So I moved my site from one hosting provider to another and the Newsletter function isn't working now. I changed the SMTP settings to reflect the new provider (3Essentials) and when I test the email, I do get the Test Configuration email back so that works. Now, when I create a newsletter to send out, I get an error report back saying it was unable to send to "X" number of recipients. This is what I get back... Any ideas to what could be wrong?

Be sure that in your SMTP settings that you have basic authentication selected, and that the username is the full e-mail address.

I have verified the SMTP settings.... have everything set. There is also a valid email address as well. This was originally an upgrade from 4.5.5 to 4.9.1 so I wonder if there is something there causing the issue.

The test email works just fine, and why I am confused. It's just the log report I get back says nothing was sent. Just not sure what the deal is.

I had a similar problem on my dedicated server (placed at home !) as well.

Reason after some investigating: it was the standard setting of the running mcafee! Almost hidden is a setting "prevent mass mailings..."
