 Hi all,

Even though many sites and skins I created display well in Opera, I found that the icons of the forum module are not displayed at all. (DNN 4.9.0, Forum 04.04.03). Specifically the breadcrumb icons, rating icons (stars), and thread icons (unrated,locked etc). It seems to be some CSS error as I get from Opera's dev tool:

Declaration syntax error

Line 1:

  ktopModules/Forum/Themes/Default/Images/breadcrump.png', sizingMethod='image');

  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------^

Is there any fix to that? Generally does DNN support Opera at all? Because I couldn't find much info in the forum.

General we try to support Opera, FF, and Safari as well, but after some new versions it could come up some issue.  All Browser ventors running it own concepts, and nobody hold strict on the W3C.  So the developers have to create own code for different browsers.  At time a new Forum version is near to release (some weeks before I think), which inlcudes some known fixes on browsers.  At time I'm not sure if your issue allready is solved, about it is a very new version of your Browser.

I like to suggest waiting to the new version, and look if the issue is solved.  Ather way could be to change the css and template files from the forum you can find on ...DesktopModules/Forum/Theme .

Some solutions of communty members here in the forum have also post some solutions for the Forum icons.

Thanks, I'll post the solution (if I find any). I hope the issue will be solved in the new version.
