I'd like to import/export module settings using the IPortable interface. Is there any recommended method for doing this. There seems to be an issue serializing the settings hashtable. Appreciate the help thanks.

Answered this myself...shouldn't the core baseclass of the core do this? Code below...

        Public Function ExportModule(ByVal ModuleID As Integer) As String Implements Entities.Modules.IPortable.ExportModule
            Dim strXML As New StringBuilder

            Dim modulesettings As Hashtable
            Dim modcon As New ModuleController
            Dim key As String
            strXML.Append("<settings>")
            modulesettings = modcon.GetModuleSettings(ModuleID)
            For Each key In modulesettings.Keys
                strXML.Append("<setting>")
                strXML.Append("<key>" & XMLEncode(key.ToString()) & "</key>")
                strXML.Append("<value>" & XMLEncode(modulesettings(key).ToString()) & "</value>")
                strXML.Append("</setting>")
            Next
            strXML.Append("</settings>")

            Return strXML.ToString()

        End Function

        Public Sub ImportModule(ByVal ModuleID As Integer, ByVal Content As String, ByVal Version As String, ByVal UserId As Integer) Implements Entities.Modules.IPortable.ImportModule
            Dim xmlList As XmlNode = GetContent(Content, "settings")
            Dim modcon As New ModuleController
            For Each xmlItem As XmlNode In xmlList.SelectNodes("setting")
                Dim key As String
                Dim value As String
                key = CType(Null.GetNull(xmlItem.Item("key").InnerText, Null.NullString), String)
                value = CType(Null.GetNull(xmlItem.Item("value").InnerText, Null.NullString), String)
                modcon.UpdateModuleSetting(ModuleID, key, value)
            Next
        End Sub
