Hi.  I'm trying to put together a web service that runs as a part of DotNetNuke, but I want to get a little extra security in it.  Is there a way, in a web service called from Javascript, to get the currently logged on user's DNN account?  If the user isn't logged on, I'd like to be able to detect that too.

Could anyone provide some helpful hints?

Have you looked at IWeb module?

That has an already created web method to return info on a user. You could probably easily modify this to do what you want.
