I am using DNN 5.01 and I have changed my background. How do I make the background continuous? When I scroll down so much, the background eventually runs out and it's just white after that. If you want an example, go to my website - www.hookandlinewebdesign.com and click on Designs and then scroll down. You will see how it just simply runs out. How do I make it stay all the way to the end?

You would have to change the CSS of the skin, the background in this default skin is set to repeat-x.

add background-repeat: repeat to one of the CSS files, easiest is portal.css, which you can edit from Admin > Site Settings > Style sheet editor

BTW, editing a copy of the default skin is a better solution, since it will not be overwritten on upgrade.

Please, read the skinning documentation for more details.

2 things, that might help...

  1. DNN is actually a form.  The form's ID is #Body - this is thus DNN's "body" id.  You would need to tell this selector to have 100% height as well, so that your background doesn't "run out".
  2. Then there's body, which is browser body.
