Hi Sebastian,

I am upgrading to 5.6 from the early 4's and am having a heck of a time.

I got to 04.09.05 but can't seem to cross over to 5 wihout issue.

Can you guide me as I have seen your posts here and you seem to know what you are doing. This is taking much longer than it should!

this issue can only be solved properly by switching to Windows Timezones (new feature in .Net 3.5 SP1), which requires some serious considerations regarding data migration and breaking changes.

It looks like Charles was able to sort out those issues, based on the current status of DNN-4991.

the real problem is migrating existing data ...

I am using DNN 6.0.1 and I seem to be having this timezone problem.  When I look at site logs, or the Event Module I am using the times are all.

My Server host is in New Zealand time (+12:00) and my portal is in Eastern Time (-5:00).  In my portal settings I have it set as Eastern Time, so I thought that would give me the proper times in the system, but I guess now.  The times are all in NZ time.

Am I missing something? Is this still a bug?

Events module has not yet been updated to use new Windows time zones in DNN 6, which will solve your issue, sorry. meanwhily I suggest using same portal default time zone as server time zone.
