On the same portal I would like to use two different blog pages.  One for the public and another for my developers.  I have a developers menu were only my developers are allowed.  This site has a Forum Mod and I would like also to have a Blog Mod, but when I place the Blog Mod, I get the same Blogs from the public.  Is it possible to have to seperate Blog Mod's on the same Portal?  If so, how do I configure it?

The core Blog module represents a single installation per portal.  Placing copies on multiple pages just creates copies of the same instance pointing to the same source data.

One way to provide a menu link to an individual blog is to create a "URL" menu link (create a new page and set the type to "URL").  Use the URL of the individual blog you wish to view.  This essentially creates a shortcut to the same Blog module page but with the desired target blog already loaded.

Unfortunately, your blogs are either "private" or "public" with nothing in between.  VIEW rights based on USER ROLES apply to all blogs -- you can't set them on an individual blog basis.  If you set a blog to "private" then only the owner and (I think) site admins can see it.  If your developers are not all site admins then I think you're stuck without some code modification.

Dario and Antonio really seem to stay on top of the blog-related questions so I'm sure one will chime in soon to verify points I nailed and/or correct any points I may have missed.

Good luck-
