I thougth I should upgrade my personal website to a dnn site (rather then my old static site). So i've installed 4.9.4 and it's MinimalExtropy skin. Then added my native language danish and then my layout problem started. When ever I change to danish the layout gets all mess up. Leftpane becomes slightly more narrow and a _ (understore) add itself to space between the US flag and other flags. Standard US looks good but changing it to any other language will ... well let's just use the word; rip ... it up.

Happens in ie7 and ff3. Have a look for yourself here: http://dnn.storinggaard.dk (my test site).

What can I do abou it?

Sry mate, we have had some big thunderstoms here yesterday, knocking power lines down and thus internet connections. It's fixed now they say - Plz let me know if it's not. Thx.

On the blog page, the leftpane grows because it is set quite narrow.

The calender takes less space in DK then in EN, because DK uses shorter abbrevations for the months.

This can be solved by setting the width of the leftpane in skin.css.

Look for

margin:0;
padding:0 20px 0 0;
width:20%;
}
and set the width too 25% (makes sure the LP, CP and RP together are 100%)

For the flags, I would move the div with id="lang_pad" just after the di="login_style" div and set it's float to right.
That way it will line better (I'm guessing you want the flags to the right of the login)

Thanks Timo. Did excatly as you proposed and it's an ok solution. The flags still gets that extra space in between them when not US language, but it's ok for now.
Thank you for your help.
