Google will not index any of our secondary pages even though we have submitted a sitemap. Google webmaster tools indicate that the urls in the sitemap are returning a 404 (not found) error but all of the links exist. I'm using the default DNN sitemap.aspx sitemap. One example of a page that Google webmaster tools indicates cannot be found is http://www.activecomputer.com/dnn/Software/eChargeRemote/tabid/58/Default.aspx but this page clearly exists. Is there something in the url or possibly page source that prevents Googlebot from indexing it? These pages all work the Lynx browser as well. The home page, http://www.activecomputer.com is indexed just fine.

Thanks,

Joe Kalinowski

is it possible, that the pages are not displayed quickly enough and Google runs in a timeout?

Does this happen even after Google revisited your site?

The pages shouldn't be timing out. Google has revisited the site several times with the same result. And most of these pages have existed for at least several months.

Copy the URL you gave to Google as a site map url and paste it into your browser.

What happens?

The sitemap loads correctly. And I can copy each of the urls and load them in a browser (including Lynx) correctly. The sitemap is http://www.activecomputer.com/dnn/sitemap.aspx
