I am using dotnetnuke 4.9.3.   I am using controlscan.com to scan my website and the cross-site scripting problem show. No idea how to fix.  This is the suggestion from them which I have no idea how to deal with ..... Please help ...

When someone enters a URL on your site that includes a ? question mark and then more data that is put into the website as a form. This could be used to redirect someone to another site while leading them to believe that they are still on your site and other malicious acts involving scripting. Please ensure that any data entered is validated before being entered onto the site

that is a very generic message and applies to any website that has querystring parameters. Unless the software has detected a paramenter that explictly can be altered to do a site-dedirect (i.e. an XSS/XSRF issue), then the report is not valid. If you have further details or want to discuss this more please email security@dotnetnuke.com
